Title Troubles

The hardest part of writing a book is everything that comes after actually writing it. Editing, refining, marketing, and, worst of all, finding a title. So far, I haven’t been great at that part. I mean, it’s just a title. It should be the easiest part of the whole process, right? But for some reason I struggle with it.

Now, I’m faced with naming the sequel to The Hill, and all I can come up with is keeping the original title and slapping “II” on the end. Pretty lame, I know. I’ve got a growing list of rejected titles, none of which I will subject you to, but trust me, they aren’t any good. I’m hoping something hits me out of the blue before long, otherwise it’s Roman numerals to the rescue.

While we’re on the subject, it won’t be much longer now. I’m hoping for a release date somewhere early in February, but don’t hold me to that because there are still a few steps to go.

I can’t wait to get this one into your hands.

Happy New Year!
